AAT members in practice (MIP) can set up their own practice and take advantage of the benefits of self-employment. To become an AAT member in practice, you must first be an AAT full member (MAAT).

AAT members in practice can offer up to 17 services to clients in the UK or Channel Islands, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts preparation and VAT.

Over 3,500 AAT professional members currently work for themselves through the MIP scheme, and AAT helps make the transition to self-employment easier by putting on local MIP introduction sessions featuring guidance and advice from experienced members in practice.

Learn more about the AAT members in practice scheme at the AAT website.
