What is the best for me?

in Getting started with AAT
I am currently working for a limited company with around 3 million turnover. They have offered to pay for me to become fully qualified and become there internal accountant, what would be the best route for me? I have no previous accounting qualifications. I have worked in accounting for 6 years.

    As you've worked in accounting for six years you will probably find you have sufficient knowledge to jump into ACCA/CIMA (or ACA if your employer happens to be an ICAEW registered training provider), certainly if you've been involved with a variety of functions.

    AAT gives you a few exemptions at the earlier stages of these, and there would be no need for you to complete Level 2 (covers the basics which you should be very familiar with from work). However I would think with your experience it would be quicker to go straight to the chartered quals.
