hello,
i want to take the unit 8 & 9 exams in June as well as the unit 11, i would like to know what parts of these units, i should spend more time on (i.e the difficult parts), as i havent started the lessons yet and havent been able to contact the teacher. i would like to take a look at them now to get an idean of what type of costing it is
thx

I have just started on Unit 8 &9, only got as far as chapter 4. Looks like it is taking Unit 6 costing on a bit further and more in depth.0

weer not doing these till end are feb ??
reckon weve got enough time to learn before exams ?0 -
1) Work on the variances for units 8 and 9. These always trip people up. Also work on budgeting.
2) Starting in Feb will give you plenty of time.
Have to warn you though (but I don;t want to scare you) 8 and 9 (I think) are the hardest units so doing them together with unit 11 might be tough. Although having said that many people do it.

unit 11 ? which ones that ?0

Unit 11 is DFS (Drafting Financial Statements) a follow on from Unit 5 but going onto do Company (PLC) accounts.
It enters into the realms of IFRS's, dividends etc - all good fun!0 -
