Hi guys. New to the forum, just wondering how everone found/finding unit 31. Have put in for my unit 30 exam which is on thursday after studying for 2 1/2 weeks (fortunately my employer has given me full time studying allowances). Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Sean

Hi Sean - I'm like you having just put in for my unit 30 exam which I'll hopefully do within the next couple of weeks.

I am just about to start (quite literally - if I ever get off the pc) unit 31 - it looks a little more tricky than unit 30 which I managed to do in 3 weeks.

    Good Luck with it.

I'm waiting for my mock unit 30 back from bpp but in the meantime upto chapter 6 of unit 31. Must admit i need to think about this one a bit more and a lot more number work analysing figures which takes a bit more time.

    Hi everyone,
I jz signed on my unit 31. My college (distance learning provider) said this unit is bigger unit than unit 30. Is any one else doing unit 31? I looking for studybuddies please. Although I haven't receive my material yet so I got no idea what is unit 31 at all.. But I get bit nervers when other people say unit 31 is hard.

    Hi

I'm just starting Unit 31 too via Home Learning College. Passed my Unit 30 December 2008 but hadn't got around to doing the next one. Time to pull my finger out I suppose!

I had a look over it last year and yes it does seem a bit harder. Although I quite confident on the Sage part so hopefully that will be OK.

Good luck guys! hope we can all help each other out a bit with this one!

    What's bo?

It could be cause unit 31 is also split into 34, 35, 36 (I think) so they might be listed as that.

Also, as in July unit 31 won't exist. - all of the standards will change.

sorry bo should have been bbp :-)

    Thanks for the info.

how are people managing to get units done within 2 weeks? I am trying really hard to get this done but home study and full time work I am finding difficult to keep motivated. would i be better off going to taught classes?

I am not sure how people are managing to get units done is two weeks, i would have thought those that do, either have previous knowledge, and/or dont have a full time job!

Those that are taking taught classes (correct me if i'm wrong people) tend to take a year to do each level, so you will be able to work quicker doing home study.

I was concerned it was taking me alot longer so thanks!
I know there are some taught classes that get 1/2 units done within a couple of months.

Those are most likely the BPP intensive courses ( i'm sure other providers do them aswell) where you are taught for about two/three weeks, then study on your own for a few and then revisions then exams.

I would probably have a brain overload if i did one of those. but each to their own!

thats what i am thinking after a day at work 2 nights a week for over 3 hours might be a bit too much! i shall soldier on with home study!

could any one please tell me where can I get more test for unit 34? I hav finished my study unit 34 & 35 and done my progressing test1 and those little activities from kaplan textbook. I'm alright with unit 35, but not confidence on unit 34, I really would like to do more practice bout it.

    Please help
