Which Technician's Unit is the most difficult?

Hi Folks

Which unit at Technician's level do you think is the most difficult?

My vote is for Unit 11 - DFS. Any advance on this?

    I say Business Tax soooooooo many rules!

    Followed by MAC at a close second. Just when you think you've got the hang of it..............you get a mind blank! :lol:

    Unit 8

    The PEV exam is DEFINITELY the worse for me...I am really struggling with the variance calculations

    BTC for learning and gtting head around it MAC and DFS for silly mistakes

    I enjoyed DFS however its simular to work but realy struggling with MAC

    i found DFS and PTC the most demanding.

    DFS for me - have always hated this side of the accounts, everything else I found ok : ( Got 6 weeks to try and pass 2nd time around them I'm done x

    No idea what it's called, but I found the unit with variance analysis in it the hardest, nearly didn't enter the exam because it went straight over my head.

    Thats MAC (or PEV/PCR NVQ Route)!

    Jewels you're crazy!! MAC is by far the most difficult in my opinion.

    I hated PEV, but after slogging away with revision and finding my own way of remembering things I actually found DFS the easiest. I hought PTC the next day was more difficult and almost messed up section 2 with a DNM standard in the last task.

    unit 10 .you will see it is the most difficult unit

    i am finding really hard to carry on with MAC , i do not find it interesting at all now :( i loved the variance side of it but now i am with the ratios and although i can understand it i find it very boring

    it might be thaat i have been nearly 6 weeks without touching a book (been sick) but not finding motivation at the moment

    i think i should have started with DFS instead of MAC at least i enjoyed more FRA than ECR on level 3

    I'm doing DFS at College and really enjoying it at the moment, I'm trying read up on Units 8 and 9 in my own time, but like you Marga, I'm really struggling with the motivation for this subject.

    Aw sorry you've been sick Marga. I havent found anyone yet who did enjoy MAC. The only time I will enjoy it is when I get a pass for it! I am actually hating BTC more than MAC. This is probably cause in the June exams I was more worried about DFS than PTC but then found the DFS exam to be pretty straightforward and the Tax exam a complete nightmare. There are so many ifs and buts with tax.
