ATT after AAT

Just starting ATT after becoming MAAT and found out there is an exemption for business tax if done at AAT level 4. I haven't done this so can I still go back and do Level 4 Business tax to get this exemption as assuming it will be a CBE and can book it in a lot quicker and is probably easier?

Well, I don't know if you can do this, but why wouldn't you just take the ATT exam?

The exam will be in May, I think, so you have plenty of time to revise for it. The standard will be higher too. Which can only be a good thing.

Becca very true, guess I just wanted to get the ATT bit out the way so I can concentrate on CTA. Only signed up a to ATT a couple weeks ago so cant take first exam until November which is fine as can do the 2 CBE's in between. Was ATT a big step up from AAT?

I wouldn't worry about having the badge, concern yourself with gaining the knowledge.

It is a major false economy to take any exemptions.

That being said it is your choice.

    Good luck either way.
