Which books do I need to self study?

I'm going to start self studying level 2 and have decided to buy the BPP question bank and the Osborne tutorial for each unit, however I have no way of knowing if they're up to date. Are the 2016 Osbourne books and the 2019 question banks too old? Are there newer versions available?

Hi mr10,
I have used Osborne books before, having started my studies on the AQ2013 syllabus and then moved across to the AQ2016 syllabus and I remember the Osborne website having a note under each book which advised what syllabus they were compatible with. I also remember speaking to Osborne who were very helpful, its probably worth double checking with them.MAAT, AATQB, MICB PM.Dip.
Completed AAT in March 20200 -
I'd say as long as after 2016 then should be okay0

Hi
I used both of these for all levels. If you’re buying direct from Osborne and BPP Learning Media they’ll be fine. If not then check you’re buying the correct ISBN number with the ones for sale through Osborne & BPP. I’ve often found the books cheaper elsewhere online.0
