I'm going to stop studying right now and try to relax for the rest of the evening. I don't think I'm taking anything in anymore and tbh, if I don't know it now it's a bit too late! :roll:

My head is heavy and it feels so hot and humid here I think a storm is on it's way.... either that or I have totally fried my brain! :shock:

So, I will gather my bits and pieces together now ready to leap out of bed and get to the site early without having to try to find things in the morning.

This is it guys.... good luck with the PEV tomorrow. :thumbup:

    Hi,

    I have spent so much time revising the formulas and variances for PEV (as i think that these hold alot of marks) and doing the past papers.

    I have just made a list of possible things that could come up in the memo tasks and now i am scared!!!

    Although i have looked over these things i am unsure if i know enough?

    Please tell me I am not the only one who is having last minute worries!!!

    As I do this by home study I can't measure how i am doing against other people, and everyone on here sounds so clued up that I don't have much faith in myself!

    HA! Clued up?!!! Erm, nope, not me... so you are SO not alone!!

    I went to one of Sandy Hood's revision days last Sunday and I truly believe if it wasn't for him I'd know even less than I do now! There was a point in the day that something clicked with regard to understanding the variances and I 'think' I've got it now, and have been doing loads of past papers.

    However, I've never really got to grips with the old reports, memos etc so today I have put my pen down and have just done a lot of reading about TQM and Value Engineering in the hope that 'if' that comes up I'll at least have an understanding of it and can put something to paper.

    I think at this time on Exam Eve, we need to try to clear our minds as it's so easy to get even more worked up than we are already. Oh, and I'm going to be taking some "Quiet Life" (like Kalms) tomorrow to keep me from freaking out before I even get there!

    Have faith, you have worked hard, a clear mind and a good nights sleep is what you need now. (says she, quaking in her boots!!)

    I feel exactly the same! If my employer hadn't paid for the exams and i had paid myself i wouldn't turn up for the exam tomorrow. I'm not ready for it i feel like i need another month to study!! :cry:

    Thank god somebody else feels the same...I have spent hours revising the variances & formulas etc & spent hardly any time revising for the written bits. I have no confidence in that side of the exam...oh well, too late now!!
    The majority of my college group struggle with the written bits so your not alone.

    Its nice to know that you are in the same boat as someone else!

    I'm fed up of everyone (my family) saying 'you'll be alright'! (They are only trying to be supported but it feels like added pressure!

    Lol i'm holding a thing of resue remedy as we speak!

    I think i need a nice hot bath! (And a brain transplant!)

    Well I have just poured myself a tall glass of tia-maria and coke :twisted: ... and it is VERY rare for me to drink at home!

    Think I may also have a bath, but think it may be a cool one instead.

    i think examiners should only be able to mark exams after a tia maria and coke!

    Where all ready, we all have done enough revision, there is only so much you can do, chill out and take it easy, this time tomorrow it will be all over and you can drink a bottle of tia maria (with coke)!!! Unless you have one on thursday too like me.

    My next one is Friday - Personal Tax, and haven't as yet started revising for that properly as I've been too worried about PEV!

    Oops, so, as soon as I get home tomorrow I'll be back to the books :cry:

    I am so glad i'm not the only feeling this way! Think i've got the hang of the majority of calcuation parts but the written stuff is gonna batter my brain. Made loads of notes, keep reading them but still not sticking in.

    Wish I only had one more exam to do after PEV but got DFS on wed and PTC on fri...... HELP!!!!!!

    Good luck everyone, roll on friso i can get my life back (or maybe revise ready for resits in dec!!!!!).
