I failed PEV again for the third time!!!!!Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of times you can take the exam?

    I am so sorry that you failed, but you must keep going with it and not give up. Maybe you need a different approach like Sandy Hood's revision days (which are brilliant).

    Yes I have to agree, if it wasn't for Sandy, I would not have passed.

    Please don't give up. You've worked too hard to stop now. You will get there, but like Eva says, maybe try to find a revision day class in your area.

    i have already tried a revsion day class and everything went well and somehow i still failed.....beginnin to think accounts arnt for me!!

    The best way I have found to learn certain parts of the course is to keep doing questions over and over again.

    Either do the same question over and over again until you get it completely right, or do different questions each time. Don't worry about having to look at the answers to start off with, work back from the answers to understand how they worked it out.

    Once you can complete one without looking at the answers, go back and do the ones you couldn't complete before. If you do all of them successfully, then it is time to move onto another type of question. :)

    You have to hang on in there - you passed your other 2 exams so accounts must be for you as they are really hard as well.

    Don't give up! I'm not aware of a limit on the number of times you can re-sit.

    I've failed PEV. I knew I had when I left the exam room but it makes it no easier. I passed DFS which was the paper I expected to be the hardest and to fail so I'm off to celebrate the pass later and start hitting the books later in the week for the stupid PEV.

    It will make the passer even better when you achieve it because you will have worked hard for it. Good luck in December.

    I can certainly recomend BPP revisions courses, perhaps abit pricey but certainly worht it!

    Definately don't give up at this stage in the game.
    I know how deflated you feel after failing, I failed the PCR exam 3 times before finally nailing it this time. You'll get there eventually, and it'll be so worth it! :)
