Hi there,
I was wondering what textbooks people are using/have used to help them with units 5 & 6 on the Intermediate course?
I have had a look at the reading list but can't make a definitve decision, studying doesn't feel complete without folling a textbook and i wondered is there an indystry standard type book for the Intermediate level?
So, in short what textbooks for units 5 & 6 are people using?
Thanks,
Ben.

Re:Intermediate text books
The college i am studying at provides the Osbourne books. They've been quite a good base so far, though i have no other reference to compare to, aside from the revision and learning hand-outs our tutors have given to us that they created themselves.0 -

i am home study with BPP and have used that book - simple explanations and also has an assesment book too which you can do different questions

Re:Intermediate text books (lyagirl)
i find that the BPP ones are pretty good and straight forward. Have practice exams and simulations and are the same layout as the AAT exams.

I'm studying with FTC - Kaplan and the text books (published by them) are included in the price. I think if you check their website you can also buy them.0 -
Re:Intermediate text books
I use BPP, and I would swear by them. They're great. I'm also distance learning, and find their books VERY clear and easy to understand.
Like said above, they have good practice questions, and the revision companion have past papers, simulations etc.. so they're brilliant. Would definitely recommend them. However, it really depends how best you learn.
