Re:Student Profile
Well, it's not me - I was in a couple of issues last year.
Proudest achievements - 'contributions to the Forum'!
How come it doesn't mention the calendar Chris?
Well done mate!

Re:Student Profile
I've only just seen it. They were hard-up for someone to feature this month and as I'd done a few book reviews I was on the Editor's contact list. I'm not sure that being Mr. June is the proudest achievement of my AAT career to date, I did big up the forums though.0 -
Re:Student Profile
Hehe just saw it0 -
Re:Student Profile
So have I but I think Jamie's calendar pic would have been much better!

Re:Student Profile
Actually, so do I. I hate that pic but it's the only one I have where I look half-way respectable.

Re:Student Profile
I thought it may have been you but wanted someone else to ask in case it wasn't.
If I can get some spare mags, you could do a signing session - one day they may be worth something
Could this be another challenge - we've had Helen and Chris in the mag, so what about you others?

Re:Student Profile
And don't forget Amanda who used to run the MSN forums was in there - not seen her on here for a while though...0 -
Re:Student Profile
You've got the pleasure of me in there shortly.

Re:Student Profile
Gem, how could you say that about the magazine?
Peugeot, another celebrity in the making - what have you done to grace our pages?0 -
Re:Student Profile
There is nothing sad about it!

How terrible, Gem! I always read the magazine nowadays. I never used to but the study tips in there can be really helpful at times!
There's nothing sad about your own fame Annette - well apart from the fact that I assume MK is for Milton Keynes. In which case, bow your head in shame...

Re:Student Profile
To be serious for a mo (just a mo!), I was surprised by the quality of the magazine when I first received it.
I think it's a definite perk to doing the AAT course and to being a member.
I've been lucky enough to have a couple of letters printed and won a competition. I see it as a platform to getting your views across to a wider field.
Maybe we ought to see if the buddies can each get a letter printed about something 'serious' in the next few months?

Re:Student Profile
Chris I must say that that picture looks nothing like the actual you mate0 -
Re:Student Profile
With regards to your challenge Helen, surely this would have to be something serious about accounting?.... i'm only on foundation so can't really go that deep into conversation about the course and what it has offered me so far..
Or is the letters and competitions open to any category - like broken lawn mower fixing and putty chucking? I'm tired and overworked today :-(, going to go home and pick my son up from mi mums then hopefully he'll go to sleep for an hour to let me wind down and gget some food... this must be the first day in ages I haven't had anything to eat all day so far...0 -
Re:Student Profile
I do know people who just throw away the magazine without even looking at it!0 -
Re:Student Profile
OOps messed up me quotes!

Re:Student Profile
I am in for two reasons. The first one was the AAT marketing department wanted to do a profile regarding the CPD policy and the other one is an auditing article that is due to be published I think in the next edition which will make for interesting reading!!

You could say why you chose the course, if you're finding it easy, hard - what your long-term goals are.
Hey - I could write it for you!
