Presume its 24 hours since, so we can discuss this horrible horrible exam!!
Was it just me or was that so different to past exam papers!!!!! :cry:

    My, my, I thought i was the only 1 who found the exam different from the past ones!!

    Are u confident that you'll pass it?? What are the criteria that they consider before determining if candidates are competent or not?? Have any idea??

    I FOUND IT THE WORST OUT OF ALL THE PAST PAPERS FOR THIS EXAM.
    I DON'T KNOW THE CRITERIA, BUT I IMAGINE, I'LL BE FOUND NOT COMPITENT AGAIN

    Do you remember how you treated the second disposal in section 1?? It was 36,000. Did you apply fya for the second CAP???

    I did a FYA but you're not supposed to. No WDA or FYA in last yr of trading. (I thought it was just WDA)

    The 36000 and the 9400 disposals resulted in a Main Poll Balancing Charge of circa 12K. The 12000 car disposal resulted in a £4K Allowance. £8K charge overall I think.

    I did first year allowances and wda on the original disposal and purchase, then did the disposal, got allowance and charge, but I think I got the charge and allowance the wrong way around.
    The more I think, the more i just know that ive messed up BIG STYE!!

    Yeah, 1st CAP was WDA (20% car)and FYA (40% as 05/06). 2nd CAP should have just been 1 addition without FYA (because of last year of trading), no WDA and the 3 disposals.

    i really struggled with tax found it worse than any other paper ive done in revision i found some of the questions misleading or not as simple as revision papers.

    we had a really bad tutor too which didnt help much

    not feeling hopefully at all

    Yea Im sure i failed, this paper was a bitch. It was very hard.. i shouldve spent more time revising business cessations...i might have to retake this with PTC next term..
