Sage End of Year Query

Hi,

Can anyone tell me why the debtors and creditors figures on my end of year TB do not match the Debtors and Creditors report i run for year end. I cant seem to find the difference?

Help.

    There was lots of helpful advice on how to track down the differences.

    Hi Rachael

    I've had this problem before.

    One of the reasons is due to payments on account, which are then allocated at a date later than year end.

    Trying running the Debtors, Creditors and TB as at todays date and see if they match now.

    Are you the Accountant or Bookkeeper? When I had the same problem I explained it to the Accountant I was passing the books to and included the up to date reports showing everything now agreed and they were happy.

    Now I know it is an issue with Sage I always make sure I change the date to allocate cash in the correct year!

    Sorry got distracted after pressing submit, when I went back to the screen the message was still there, so I pressed submit again!
