Can't get to Branch Events

My local branch seems to hold their events in the same place each time, and I am very frustrated as I can't get that far out.
What is the easiest way to gain CPD without these events?

    Purplegirl,

    AAT classes CPD as any learning, training or experience that helps you to do your job or develop your career. It can include:

    Workshops, training courses and conferences
    Planned coaching from colleagues
    Studying for further qualifications
    Audio, video, online or CD-ROM resources
    Planned reading or research
    Special project work or job secondment
    Discussions with colleagues
    Development of skills through hands-on experience

    As long as the activity is relevant to your current role or your future career then it will count as CPD.

    If you can't get to events (I'm the same) are then any ways you can get notes that you can read over??
