Have a read of this;

I do always read and try to understand them just a little but usually fail miserably! Is it just me or does anyone else also fail to fully understand what the heck they are talking about?! :?
Regards,
Robert
EDIT; I did get Dean's last bit about his house sale though!

Sorry.
He's not gonna be best pleased when he reads that Hellen, considering the chequered history you have between you two - especially when you temporarily became Peugeot and got his angry reponse...

He already knows.
He's used to me nodding off while he's in the middle of things.

Just in case the MIP's ever read this!
Despite the nature of this thread, I have to say that I do read all their threads even if I don't always understand them and I know they're a real goldmine of knowledge that may be more useful in the future.
Paulb has just started a particularly interesting one so I eagerly await the replies to that! My simple brain can understand that one - well at least until Dean Shepherd gets involved then it'll be whoooooosh and I'll get all confused again! :?

How rude..
..maybe he needs to work on his technique?!
Oh, and the key to confusing people (and making yourself seem more intelligent than you are) is dropping in a few section numbers and tax cases..
Pick some obscure legislation.. if you know the finance act that introduced it even better.. and finally, quote some pre-war tax case with strange names - Pondicherry v Madras 1937 is a personal favourite.0 -

Blobby - que

Dean - and accountants wonder why people look at them with a glazed expression

I must admit to being slightly amazed (and confounded) about some of the things you extremely clever MIP's talk about and the vast knowledge you all possess! I can normally keep up with the first couple of posts then it tends to go completely!
Do you all take VAT and case law books to bed or something?! A bit of CPD in yer sleep? :shock:
