Hello
Before you do your cash flow statement you need to do a cash flow reconcilation unless its already given. But the end figure from your reconcilation you will be your opening figure on your cash flow statement.
Hope this helps0 -
All it say is start of business share capital was £***, recevied grants £*** and overdraft facility of £***.
Start of business bought Fixures at £***.
Then it just give you the fixed overheads cost and sales and purchases figures.0 -
which question are you attempting?

Have a look at the information Visha has given me in an earlier thread with the heading 'cashflow statement - HELP'
I have found it very useful.
Some tips our tutor gave us were:-
O I F (pronounced - Oh Fe)
O - Operating Activities - which includes
Profit from operations before tax and Interest paid
Loss or Profit from Disposal of assets
Depreciation
Also included in this section is RIPIT - not in order but helps you to remember what goes next
I - Inventories
R - Trade Receivables
P - Trade Payables
I - Interest paid
T - Tax
I - Investing Activities
This section is the proceeds from Sale of assets and Purchase of Assets
F - Financing Activities
This section Share Capital, Share premium capital, Non current liabilities -
(check Vishas notes as i may have left something off)
