If you have got a opening bal on both sides and a closing bal on both sides, and on the debit a entry from the bank , how would you close this off?

  I don't understand what you mean, u cant have balances on both sides, do u mean entries on both sides? Admin expenses should always be brought down on the debit side.

  Are there prepayments brought and carried down?
