well im sure thast one will only be for this year . they usually produce new ones every year...

nice try/......havent really read it thou as we got a helpful leaflet from our tutor and thats helps me out ....

its not bad i just had 2 exams BTC and DFS found them ok i guess n i go bak in march cos im with kaplan so i guess i have 2 months to finish my project n also find a job haha ...

Can I suggest that people do not share their reports. There are ethical issues with this and any similarity between reports could be construed as plagiarism.
For those who need help writing their Unit 10 project, look at the e-learning at http://www.aat.org.uk/elearning/unit10_e-learning/ for guidance. Also I would strongly suggest that you get hold of a copy of the BPP Unit 10 Unit companion book. I found it very good and used it a lot when I wrote my unit 10 project. I know how let down people feel by tutors in this unit but all you are being asked to do is look at a situation from a manager's point of view and use your accounting knowledge and skills to address issues that arise in case studies. (I know it's difficult but just look for glaringly obvious problems - believe me they are there in abundance in all of the case studies). When you have found problems try to come up with realistic suggestions to address them. Use the unit performance criteria as a guide to what you have to do. 4,000 words sounds a lot but believe me, it's very little for these case studies.

D1989 goes on at length about how much time Peter Balls has off sick then says he's been dismissed. There is a large appendix (5 1/2) pages at the back covering statutory disciplinary proceedings. Is this a clue that they want you to research this at length or would the project be acceptable if you focused more on other improvements that could be implemented in the systems?

I ignored the issues surrounding Peter Balls' dismissal as I didn't think it was wholly accounts related, more to do with employment law. In one of the sections at the start (can't remember which) where you have to write what the report covers or doesn't cover, I added a line which said I wasn't going to cover Peter Balls' claim for unfair dismissal, to acknowledge that I had seen it in the case study.
I thought there was plenty of other problems to write about and my tutor seemed to agree as I passed a couple of months ago.0
