Hello.

On Part B of the DEC 08 exam task 1.3 the consolidated balance sheet. Can anyone advise where the figure 530 comes from in the minority interest??

    Hiya!

    It's 1/3 of the post acquistion retained earnings - the minority interest is 1/3 :)

    It seems to be the post aquisition retained earnings of the subsidiary which is attributable to the equity holders of the subsidiary.
