The easy way to succeed at this exam is to study hard for it and cover all areas of the syllabus as well as attending a revision course (either mine or one such as those held at Kaplan).

You should also attempt all the past papers that examine IFRS.

    Regards

There is no easy way - you have to work at it!

How are you studying this, at home or at college?

(I wasn't copying Steve - we posted at exactly the same time!!)

My college canceled my course and I now study on my own. Dfs is my final attempt at Aat but I find standards papers hard and need easy ways to write the exam.
My text book is to big for me.

I think instead of trying to rely on others maybe go and try seek the infomation out yourself you will never learn that way, also you are leaving it really late now and should be well into your studies by now the sylabus is large, for instance we have now almost covered section one which is 70% of the exam. Yes others may disagree that you have plenty of time to cover the subject but i feel you may have left it to late if you havent even started it as you said yourself.

Yes, DFS & PTC in Dec and the rest-PEV, PCR, BTC- in June.

As for the troll, I hope you're right.....if not, it's worrying...

As I suspected would be the case, students are not forthcoming when posters make abrupt requests for assistance.

Hamisha, even if a student were to supply their notes then you would have to study them and they may not even help you as different students have different learning styles.

It has already been pointed out that you are leaving it too late to do enough work on DFS to pass the paper. If you look at the Unit 11 guidance notes, you will see that the syllabus is vast.

If your big text book is the only source of study you have then you will need to use that. However I have written a book which may help you save time studying accounting standards.

You can still get through DFS at this late stage though it will require some hard graft to catch up.

    Good luck.
