Level 4 AAT and CPD

Hi
I am awaiting my final level 4 exam result and am in the process of completing my full membership and MIP application. With regard to the CPD requirement for MIP status, do my level 4 studies count as CPD for this year? In the application pack it asks for CPD done within the last year and I wondered (hoped!) that the level 4 qualification counted as CPD for this year. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Sadly, Level 4 does not count towards CPD.
Look at the MAAT application as being made up of two parts: academic and work experience. The Level 4 qualification fulfils the academic requirements, so it can't also fulfil the work experience requirements.
