Maximum profit resulting from optimal plan would be:
Cost per unit x units optimal plan for every product X Y Z in total in £2540
less Fixed cost per unit x sales demand

    0.43 x 407 for prod. X
    0.50 x 600 for Y
    0.70 x 400 for Z

    so 2540 - 755 = 1785

    I know so 0.43 x 407 = 175.01
    0.5 x 600 = 300
    0.7 x 400 = 280
    175.01 + 300 + 280 = 755.01

    2540-755.01 = 1784.99

the fixed cost for product x is not £0.43 per unit, is £0.875 because we are producing 200 units and not 407 so 0.43*407=175.01/200=0.875.
