Morning everyone
I thought that I'd post this general item as it's a Friday and everyone needs to let their stress out before the weekend.
UK Politics v USA Politics v Accountant
This isn't a post for specific policies but a general how do people think their government is doing.
I deal with clients who trade in USD so I need to keep an eye on what the Orange Manbaby is doing day in day out. I've got to the stage now where my management accounts are now recording exchange differences after EBIT as it wasn't showing a true reflection on the company's performance.
As much as we have problems in the UK with black holes and MP's breaking the laws they pass with stamp duty etc I don't think we have it too bad compared with our American counterparts.
We all know that Politian's tell porkies but Trump has taken this to a new level, the only reason he's knocked down the East Wing is so he can his nose out of the White House.
Tariffs are an accountants nightmare especially when they change every couple of weeks, product costing, margin reports.
Great deal maker though, do a trade war with China, they stop buying Soya beans and then make an agreement for them to take LESS than they were taking before trade war and its the best deal ever!
Anyone else want to let off steam - this is a topic about general performance unless finance based.
