Hi, i recently moved to the UK and i am thinking of pursuing my career in accounting here after 19 years of accounting in Romania. I have an economics bachelor's degree but i am not a member of Chartered accounting Body. What qualifications do i need here, please? Thank you

Hi @SzilviaKosa
I hope you are well?
As you have a degree you might be able to get a job using that degree, in the UK, most people to get into accounting will have a degree or AAT or ACCA or CIMA. If you are looking at Chartered Accountancy that will be ACCA or CIMA, you would need to speak to them as you maybe entitled to exemptions which means less exams to do.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
