the standards are on the main website, once you log in and look under the DFS parts, they are the Feb 2009 guidance notes.

I can also recommend Steves book. You can purchase and download immediately it from

    http://www.accountancystudents.co.uk/

well worth ยฃ13.50 as it breaks each standard down in detail

    Hope that helps

Ok great, is it more of a text book or revision aid?

I would say it's more of a revision aid, you need to know something about the standards in the first place but once you've looked through them it really helps you remember them.

Is it just about the standards or the whole of DFS?

list of standards for DFS June 2010

    Hi Esme,

for anyone sitting DFS June 2010 and using 'A students guide to IFRS' this is what you need to know.

The orange chapters (all of them!)

    The Framework(chapter 1)
    IAS 1
    IAS 2
    IAS 7
    IAS 8
    IAS 10
    IAS 16
    IAS 18
    IAS 37
    IAS 38

    The Green chapters! (not all)

    IAS 12
    IAS 17
    IAS 23
    IAS 33
    IAS 36
    IAS 40
    IFRS 5

    From the blue chapters

    IAS 27
    IFRS 3
    IAS 28

From the red chapters (only 1 ..yea!!)

IFRS 8 (examinable for the first time last December).

    Hope that helps

    Clare

PS Remember if you continue onto ACCA or CIMA you need the others then!!
