What jobs will I be qualified to perform after completing AAT Level 4?

AAT

When you complete AAT Level 4 you'll be fully AAT-qualified. Completing the qualification is a great way of demonstrating your commitment to your career and determination to succeed. Depending on your experience, at this level you might expect to apply for slightly more senior roles, possibly with a management emphasis.

You can also demonstrate your professional commitment by becoming a full member of AAT and gaining the right to use the letters MAAT after your name.

Roles you might want to consider applying for include:

• Finance Officer (higher level)
• Finance Team Leader
• Commercial Analyst
• Financial Accountant
• Indirect Tax Manager
• Senior Bookkeeper
• Tax Supervisor
• VAT Accountant

However, despite having a professional qualification to your name you shouldn't assume your AAT Level 4 qualification alone will be enough to let you walk into a job. With so many people applying for each vacancy, you need to ensure your job application really sells your ability, experience and potential. You'll need to make sure your application illustrates any real-world experience you've already gained, whether in the finance industry or not.
