Hi All,

I'm a person who works actually as a chef in London, but I'd like to change my career, (obviously as an accountant). I don't have any certificate and I didn't had any courses, so I have to start from the bottom. So basically I don't have any idea from where I could start, I've seen on internet courses for AAT or ACCA or CIMA, but I don't know if them are good or not, so I'll ask you for some advice.
Which course is better to start, and also, you know any good school?

thanks in advance

Once you've done AAT you will automatically get exemptions from both CIMA and ACCA.

I would try some accounting recruitment agencies to see if they will take you onto their books. They should also be able to tell you what types of positions are currently on the market.

If you were looking at an office junior type of role the company would probably pay for your course as it benefits them with increased charge out rates or general pool knowledge.
