Accountancy Elite are actively sourcing strong experienced Accounts/Audit candidates for a new position that has arisen within a well established top 15 firm based in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with previous practice experience to join a reputable, forward thinking firm. The ideal candidate will be a well organised individual, able to multi task and prioritize a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.

THE ROLE

The role will involve preparation of year end accounts, in addition to planning and then completing the auditing of accounts. The role is based at the Tamworth office, reporting directly to the Accounts / Audit Manager, managing a portfolio of clients. You will be planning & completing assignments, preparing statutory accounts for limited companies and supervise the audit team including junior staff. You will be building & maintaining relationships with staff and key clients which will involve client visits so a driving license is essential as a means of transport will be required.

SALARY - Negotiable dependant on experience £30,000-£40,000

START DATE - ASAP or happy to wait a notice period

REQUIREMENTS

·Successful candidate will hold or be working towards ACA/ACCA qualification
·Previous practice experience of an advantage
·Driving License (e.g client visits)
·Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
