We are a small, but busy, accountancy practice based in Gateshead. We are looking for an assistant accountant who has experience of working in practice. The role ideally is a full time position, but will consider the right candidates in a part time capacity.
The role will involve bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, accounts preparation and personal and company tax returns.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and experience of using computerised accounting packages would be an advantage.
Full time position would be Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, salary negotiable depending on experience.
