Re:Help
Hi Stephen,
when I lack motivation I question why am I doing this qualification. Why am I giving up my weekends and evenings, why do I find it difficult sometimes, why do I bother??? Then I remind myself, I am doing it for a qualification, I am doing it to get a better job, I am doing it for personal satisfaction (was a no-hoper in school), I am doing it to give my employer some professionalism in the Finance department, I am doing it to get more money. I am doing it because I enjoy this discussion forum and feel part of something. The list of why "I AM" doing it is longer than the list of why "am I" doing it!!!
Feel better?????
Cheers

Re:Help
Totally agree, think of the satisfaction you will have. I just keep thinking back to when I passed Intermediate and realised i had the whole level 1 of accountancy under my belt, i was thrilled0 -
Re:Help
I've found it hard to motivate myself this year, eapecially when I look back over a chapter and don't seem to have taken anything in. But I keep telling myself that it will be worth it when I qualify and can earn lots more money!!0 -
Re:Help
Hi
I totally agree with Stephen, I was so chuffed when I passed Foundation, I was rubbish at school at maths, I am now 49 (yes I know I'm old) and have been working in accounts for three years, obtaining full AAT qualification will mean a lot to me and will increase my market value in the work place. It's the only way to command a higher salary. Its also given me a lot of confidence and I understand my job of lot more because of it. So keep at it, it will be worthwhile in the end.
