Hi there...

I need an advice from you all! I want to start Intermediate Distance Learning Course but i don't know with who...I did foundation with BPP but I may want to change for FTC for example.

Does anyone knows which one of them is better? For which reason?
Do you know any other company for home study?

Your suggestion will be well appreciate! I want to sit my exams for June so I have to start as soon as possible!

    I'm using FTC for the intermediate course and they're quite good although I am finding the distance learning for this much harder than the foundation. The staff are very helpful and always willing to help.

    I am studying with premier training and i have found them very helpful. I do agree though it is quite difficult to do this level home learning

    Hi

    Yes you can sit the exams locally, I live near Southampton, home study and sit exams and skills tests in the FTC offices in Southampton. I suppose in theory though you could sit the exams where you like as you tell them - have a holiday and sit one whilst away if you really want to!

    I've been using BPP for foundation and intermediate - only because my company pays and that is who they using!

    However, I would not recommend them as the support is just not there and I am going to a local college to do technician level.

    Hello Manu

    I would suggest you have a look at the general forum regarding the BPP home study package as there have been several disappointed students (including myself) and it doesn't sound like FTC are much better. I hope this helps you make a good choice. Good luck.

    I must admit I did exactly what arsywood is suggesting and looked on this forum for who was being recommended. Like PP22, the company I work for only uses BPP but I put together a case for not going with them using quotes from this forum and I am now very happliy trundling along with Premier Training :P and will hopefully do my Technician level with them.

    Hi All,
    Sorry to butt in I have started my ACCA with FTC and they are really helpful and I have always either had replies back from emails or returned phonecalls, the staff are really friendly too. As I did most of my AAT at college I was in the same boat and had heard the same about BPP being useless which is why FTC got my money as far as I'm concerned it was money well spent.
    Can you not complain to BPP about the lack of a personal tutor which they said they would provide as well as the unreturned phone call/emails. Failing that I would submit a complaint to AAT after all BPP are providing a service on their behalf.
