BPP

Is anyone else studying with BPP and found that the time it takes to get anything back from them is way too long?

I submitted unit 21 evidence in beginning of October and only received it back last week! To make it even worse, the letter from them was dated in mid december and the postmark was late January meaning they took a month to post it!

Sorry to rant. Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem.

There appear to be numerous threads complaining about BPP so I would guess you are not the only one. Have you contacted the BPP and queried it with them?

I'm fortunate enough to be a full member these days so don't have direct experience of BPP but I've been looking to do ATT and, due to the experiences I've read of on these threads, do not intend to use BPP for that!

TLG maybe they are better with some qualifications than others. I use them for ACCA and can't fault them - they are fantastic. I've just had a half hour conversation with someone about my options for the next paper and they didn't even ask if I was one of their students - just spent the time with me.

Granted. I think I have found the best option with another provider anyway (they will be covering the new syllabus earlier than BPP or Financial Training which is one of my reasons for choosing them) but can't deny the problems I've read on here did make me wary of BPP.

    Re:BPP

I've had nothing but problems with BPP. I am now behind again because I was waiting for them to getback to me on the work evidence I sent in back in December. The letter they sent back was dated the 23rd, but I didn't get it until the middle of January. That may not seem very long, but some of my tests took weeks and even up to a month to hear anything. I just pestered them by email and phone though :)
I'm not sure I will use them whenever I finally finish foundation to go on to intermediate.

 In October did BPP -FRA revision course in Bristol. Revision book provided was missing pages & topics etc. Was told reprint would be sent to me AFTER the exam in Dec.2005. This was a lot of help...Also still waiting for copy of book. Would not be attending anymore BPP courses. Still I had my books from the FTC to help me for the exam.[img][/img]

I also sent in some coursework in October, had it back last week, and the letter was also dated beginning of December!! The letter also said they want the work back within 10 days! Considering it took a month to post think ive missed that deadline!!

I am definatly changing after i complete my foundation level! Well IF i ever complete it

    Re:BPP

I started with BPP last May on a home study Foundation course, I've now switched to the Diploma (certificate coourse). I'm relieved to find that it's not just me that has had problems with them. Marking the Unit 1 & 2 mocks and tests I sent in took forever. You can never get hold of the right person to speak to on the phone and my tutor also takes ages to reply to any questions I have. I'm writing in to complain and will post the reply. As I intend to do the next two AAT level I hope they lsiten to the problems, if not I'll go elsewhere.

BPP have excellent tutors and appalling administration. I guess you can't have both!
