MSP Project - Methodology section

Hi,
I need some help! I have nearly finished my first draft of the project, and I've got to the methodology (or procedures) section. Thing is, I don't know if this bit needs to be written in the 3rd person also. Its kinda hard to get my head round how I explain how I've gone about writing this, in the 3rd person.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    I wrote in bullet form, here are a couple of examples of what I put and I hope it helps:
    .Course notes and textbooks used for ideas and guidance.
    .A SWOT analysis was created at the beginning of the report to get an overview etc.

    My methodology was quite short and along the lines of

    The information for this report was initially gathered by interviewing relevent members of staff / questionaires / reviewing internal procedures. This lead to futher questions which where dealt with by email/discussions/telephone conversations etc with the relevent parties.


    i then put a bit of blurb how i researched some areas i was unfamiliar with by looking up in books, using the internet, asking advice of those in the acknowledgements section etc.

    I don't think you need to get too bogged down with it. Have fun

    I used bullet points. Can't remember them all but some were

    Observation over a given period of time of existing methods

    questionnaires

    Staff meeting discussions

    researching similar organisations methods

    AAT workbooks!

    Professional publications

    The organisations financial regulations
