Anyone using the BPP Interactive Text Unit 5?
The trading, profit and loss account, Page 91
The example is shown as follows:
BUSINESS NAME
TRADING, PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT
FOR THE PERIOD ENDED (DATE)
Sales x
Cost of sales x
___
gross profit x
etc
Shouldn't it me
Sales x
less cost of sale (x)
___
gross profit x
Ie shouldn't you minus the cost of sale from the sale to get the gross profit?

It's the same in mine. I think you're right and this is an error - someone left the brackets out.
