I've only read one comment about someone passing their DFS.... is it just that nobody else knows yet?

Based on the number of posts I read after the DFS exam I KNOW there are lots of us who took it - and am a lil bit surprised at the lack of posts about the results!!

I dunno mine yet - have to wait till I get home... :cry:

    Aww, well done you - have you finished now?....

    So that's 2 of us who did it.... where is everyone else?!!

    I remember that there was a bit of controversy over the mis-alignment of the figures on the consolidated balance sheet and a lot of people said that they couldn't get either balance sheet to balance so was wondering if that had made any difference to the number of passes?

    Personally it's the 2nd section that I'm worried about... dunno if I waffled enough, although I know that I got the ratios correct. (but then if these posts are anything to go by, I can waffle for England!)

    Check out "Am I the first ..." thread. There are quite a few DFS passes on there. Good luck with your results.

    Yes I have finished thank goodness!!
    I was worried about DFS because the only bit I felt I had actually got right was the 1st balance sheet as I actually got it to balance it did seem to go a bit downhill from there.
    It was the 2nd section I failed on the 1st time so I made sure I waffled for England and it obviously worked! :D

    I passed too!
    Got my results at 8am this morning. Started the day very nicely!
    Well done to everyone else who passed!
    No more studying for me! :)

    i too took DFS, also PTC and passed both.
    Just got two left in june to take, then its onto CIMA.

    I was quietly confident about the DFS result, a bit wavy about the PTC though. anyways i passed both so dont need to worry about them anymore... :D

    I'm sitting here in shock - dunno whether to laugh out loud (but I'm all alone at the moment!) or to cry.

    Sent emails out to work collegues, said I might buy cakes - got a reply from the 'big' boss who said 'sod the cakes, alcohol is the only way to go'... so looks like I've got permission to take a few cans in to work then!!! hee hee

    I passed my DFS resit!! And thats me done with AAT at last never thought i'd be able to say that :lol:

    And i put my hand up i laughed at first then burst into tears!! :oops:

    I passed too and this was my second attempt!
    I am so happy to see the back of AAT which is good as I have already started ACCA!

    Passed DFS 2nd time round and have now finished my course !!!! total relief I can tell you. Has it all been worth it ? hope so....... Next course is CIPFA :shock:

    Passed DFS & PTC 2nd attampt and now looking forward 4 ACCA exams in December!!

    Yay - i passed DFS (god knows how!) and PTC! I am still in shock!! Just the two costing and business tax in June now!!

    Ive found out i passed this morning both DFS and PTC. Well happy just PEV and PCR to go then im all done.

    I passed DFS first time - was rather shocked! but very pleased! I didn't know how i'd done. Thought the ratio's were okay i know i messed up my journals big time

    how did you get to find out what part you failed on in your 1st DFS exam?

    I know that the 1st bit all balanced and that i got the question right about FRS 18 as i checked after leaving the exam.

    I cant get my head around what iv failed on!

    When you get your postal results it will tell you which section you passed and which section you failed.

    Hello there... I passed DFS first time, was quietly confident but you never no so was a big releif when i got my results on Tuesday. Very good Valentines prezzie... 3 to go in June then im done!!!!! :lol:

    thanks i realised as soon as i opened the results.

    Failed section two for both PCR & DFS.
