Osbourne textbook for DFS? Anyone selling?

Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the DFS osbourne text book for sale that they no longer need? and workbook if pos? 8)

    Yes I do. I have DFS workbook and tutorial textbook to sell

    Selling price for individual units is £10 per tutorial textbook + postage fee and £8.00 per woorkbook + Postage fee

    £18 + Postage fee

    To buy new they would be £31.00 for both

    I do too - but don't forget that there will be changes as it's now IFSs instead of FRSs so our books will be a bit out of date already :(

    Oh thats a shame forgot about the new IFs's.
    Are your text and workbook also not suitable for the new IFS's and June06 exam.?

    Unfortunately not, as the old FRSs and SSAPs are no longer assessible - BUT the books aren't all about them, they do cover the rest of the syllabus.. and the information on the new IASs and IRFSs is all contained here http://www.aat.co.uk/centres/display/store4/item4139/

    I suppose it depends on how and where you will be doing your studying. We hardly used the books at all tbh and our tutor was very thorough (but soo quick, learnt the whole thing in just 10 weeks, 1 evening a week!). Also whether you are paying for the books yourself or if work is - if work is, then go straight for the new ones! :thumbup:
