Could anyone explain to me exactly how to calculate a percentage on the difference between a forecast figure and an actual. Am taking the devolved next week and I'm still not 100% sure!!! :?

    i think its

    variance x 100 / budget = percentage

    example

    budget actual variance percentage
    100,000 105,600 5600(a) 5.6 (a)
