hi i'm just a bit confused.
I have just done the unit 1 tubney technology simulation from amanda's website (thanks amanda) and am going through my answers.
I am asked to prepare invoices and none of my VAT's agree with the ones in the answers.
For example VAT @ 17.5% of £3690.00, i think, should be £645.75
However in my answer booklet the VAT of £3690.00 is £623.14
Does anyone know where i'm going wrong?!

Doesn't matter now i had to take 3.5% off the VAT as settlement discount - sorry!!0 -

you need to take off the settlement discount from the total then work out the vat.
I kept having exactly the same problem with Discounts and all of a sudden it just clicked.
I just sat my unit 1 sim and have unit 2 monday!0
