Why dont AAT give your exams results as a % of the total marks, like ACCA does, I have just passed PLB and it would be nice to know how I actually did.

    Hi,

I agree with you, it would be nice to know how well you did on both parts of the exam rather than just knowing that you passed. Because you could have done really reall well or you couud have just scrapped through. I also just passed the PLB but I thought that I'd failed it, but that was maybe just cos i'd already failed it twice before. (Third time lucky is all I can say.)

    Hi Sanjay,

I work for a small local company to where I work and I do all the Accounts and Payroll along side someone else. I started doing my Foundation at my previous job but because I failed the exam twice that held me back, which is why I have only just finished it. At the moment I am currently studying for the Payroll Foundation as apposed to doing Intermediate as I haven't done much on Payroll before I started my new job and I had done quite a lot of work in Accounts, but once I have finished my Payroll Qualifications I am them going to go back and do my Intermediate Accountany.

You could try the local agencies to see if they know if there are any local accountant looking for temps, scan the local papers every week, but don't just apply for anything make sure that your qualifications are going to be put to good use.
