Hello,

Sitting the Simulation Unit 5 Part 1 tomorrow,is anyone else sitting this simulation tomorrow?

This is the test on Extended Trial Balance, Fixed Asset Register and so on.

    I have sat the simulation today, I started ok but then started on the JOURNALS! these are my worst nightmare. After doing one that took ages there was more & more!!!! These took a lot of my time and my concentration went to pot.
    I felt confident at the start but come home feeling like a failure.
    How did u find it??

    Hi there.

    That's exactly where I got stuck, so i was not able to complete the Extended Trial Balance, or if I did it would have got messy and confusing.

    When we started Part 2 the partnership accounts I continued with Part 1 and I did feel more confident with the journal aspects.

    I find out after the holidays how I did with Part 1.

    I did quite a few of the exercises in the study book, that will boost your confidence.

    We get our results after Easter hols, I am expecting to get a not competent result, but hope to be able to continue with additional work. But for now going to forget about it. Good luck with your results. Let me know how you did.
