Has any one used qtac payroll software, and if so what do they think of it, and how much does it cost?

    Hi,
    i only joined today, but were i work we use qtac, I've never used sage before and only had in house training! But after about a week i was fine! You can print sage payslips off qtac which is what we do!

    The package was £180.00
    and i think its around £80 to update every year! But i can get the exact price if you need it!

    We use VizPay, which is a qtac product. It costs about £185 for one user per year, upto a 100 employees. I am not sure of the start up charge.I find this excellent as we have 7 companies all with small payrolls. The sage equivalent would be hundreds more. Qtac provide the technical support and I have always found them very quick to resolve any of my issues.
    Every year I check the cost of operating a sage payroll but have always found the cost prohibitive. Vizpay is easy to use and the migration at year end is simple and I now do online filing which again I found straightforward. I would reccommend this product as a cost efficient alternative to Sage.

    Quick books is ok to use for Payroll although at the momnet I do use Sage for Payroll but use Quickbooks for Accounting but I am trying to persuade my employer to let me use Quickbooks for both Payroll and Accounting rather than using two types of Software.
