I used the BPP for exams in 2005/2006 for my PCR and passed first time. Its sometimes a good idea to buy a second hand book from a different publisher for extra activities and study material as one book may explain a topic in more detail than another.

I used the Financial Training Co book for the extra activities, between the two books I had more than enough to keep me going.

    Hope this helps

This is probably a point of personal choice. I found the BPP books a little hard going and longwinded but found Osborne extremely good for both PCR & PEV. I would invest in the workbooks and tutor packs for the answers and perhaps the BPP passcards. You will then be armed for any eventuality.

I use the Osborne book as the clearest and best around.

If like so many people, you constantly refer to answers rather than work through questions you might not be happy that the book doesn't allow you to flick to the back to find the answers.

    I think this is good.

There can be more than one way to get the right answer and by thinking the way through yourself you learn far more than by diving into someone else's answer.
