Could someone give me an example of a fixed production overhead and variable production overhead. Also what is an admin overhead??

    Fixed production overhead - a specific and unchanging cost of the product such as depreciation of some equipment specifically used in the production process. In a printers, this would be the printing machine itself.

    Variable production overhead - an element of the product. In a printers, this would be the paper used or the ink.

    Admin overhead would be the an element of the sales team costs or the purchase teams costs or the receptionist.
