Opting Out

I know you can opt out of the info for management control, computers and health and safety units and do them at intermediate but is there a deadline for opting out. I already took the sims for both but failed the computers due to complete overcrowding there was 4 people to one computer at one time! So I was wondering if I could just forget those units until the next level or do you think it's just up to the college?

    There isn’t actually any opt out. In order to complete the foundation level you will need to complete Info for Management Control, Health and Safety and Working with Computers. Also, Info for Management Control is only part of the foundation level. You could possibly go onto the intermediate course and do Health and Safety and Working with Computers there, but you won’t get your foundation certificate until you complete these units.

    Working with Computers is part of both foundation and intermediate and Health and Safety is part of all three stages. You only need to do each one of these once however because although they form part of more than 1 level, the unit is the same each time.
