AAT Payroll Qualification

hi

I have 3 more exams to sit which I'm taking in June (doesn't mean I'll pass of course!) but if I do then I was wondering what to do next. I'd thought of doing the AAT payroll qualification but I don't know anyone who's done it or what it involves and I wondered if anyone out there had any information on it.

Any info would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I am currently doing Payroll level Two it a a seperate qualification to the Accountancy although if you have done any Accountancy qualifications and have done Units 21, 22 & 23 these then count towards your payroll Qualification which means that you only have three units to do for Level Two and of you go on to do Level Three you only have three units to do as well. But saying that I am allowing myself a year to do each course (that is if all goes according to plan and I pass my Level Two exam in June)

    It is a different syllabus, when I started the course (in September) I hadn't done much work in Payroll and I haven't struggled to much with it, if anything I have struggled in getting the evidence from work to count towards my Portfolio (if this is the case and it is impossible for you to get evidence you can do the Simulations as in the Accountancy)!! But I have found my tutor very help full if I have became stuff on anything!!
    I am using the FTC books and I would highly reccommend these one's (not sure who else publishes the books for Payroll.)

    Thanks for that.

    I have done units 21 and 22 on intermediate (not sure what unit 23 is) so as you say that would help towards the payroll course.
