Hey everyone

I'm really sorry, I know you've probably answered this a hundred times before but I can't find the link :oops:

Does anyone know a good site where I can dl past simulations? I'd like one for unit 1, I'm using the ones on MSN. I heard the AAT have them on the site but I can't find them :?

    hi,,
    im not sure if the AAT provide actual practice simulations..although i may be wrong!
    from what i can remember from doing unit 1, i had to post amounts to the sales day book, sales account vat account, sales (debtors) ledger and cash book.
    draft a letter and memos etc, so basically i worked through chapters 1-7 student activities and workbook questions (osborne books) these seemed to cover this unit to every detail, the only thing i got confused with was having to keep cross referencing back to pages in the question and answer booklet. you maybe better at this than me!

    i also downloaded some practice exams off the premier training website, (im presuming your doing home study?) even tho you mite not want to start practice exams this soon i found by looking at these from time to time gave me a good insight into how the accounts of a business were organised, and it helped me with the "flow" of entries.

    I don't use the osbourne books and I'm sort of doing distance learning. Don't you need to be enrolled in premier training to get to the practice sims?

    i am enrolled with them but havent seen any practice sims on there! unless ive missed them. i didnt get hold of any practice sims but worked thru my books student activities and did ok in the sims (even tho it would have been good to do a practice 1).

    have you tried asking on the msn group site? they may know morethan me.

    A good college should provide you with practice ones.

    There is 1 for each unit on the msn groups.

    I've done unit 1 on the msn group but I think I need more practice. My training provider gave me a progress test but not a practice sim. I think I'm just gonna have to work through soem questions in my books, not the same as a sim though, i like being familiar with the layout and things. Oh well :roll:
