Unit 23 acheiving personal effectiveness

I am having a headache completing this, especially the underpinning questions, such as dealing with difficult situations, principles of time management and the principles of team working. can any one help? :?:

    Hiya - don't stress on it - a little help from others, helps ya get your head round things!

    Difficult situations - what about things like meeting deadlines or having an urgent and important task to complete - how have you fitted it in with other tasks? Or have you had to obtain authorisation for anything and noone is about - how have you dealt with it etc.

    Time Management - Are you able to complete your days work in a day - how do you manage it - do you look at what things have to be done first, what are urgent and important. How do you keep to those tasks - i.e planning aids - a tick list etc keep a time diary and see what happens during your day and if you are interrupted or not (meaning if you are asked to do a task that is not part of your usual days tasks - a one off situation)

    Team Working - important to understand the importance of team work and how they help in the productiveness of the company - understand and help each other, support and listen. There may be conflicts at work - so how would you go about solving them etc.

    Do you have any of the Osbourne books as they are a real help?

    No problem

    The Osbourne books I have are:

    Foundation Accounting, Second Edition, Tutorial for NVQ Accounting Units 1-4, David Cox&Michael Fardon

    and

    Office Skills, Combined Text, For NVQ Accounting Units 21,22 & 23, Michael Fardon&Roger Petheram

    Try looking on ebay and amazon to get them cheaper - the 1st one retails at around £21 and 2nd around £18 I think but look around as people are bound to sell them cheaper!

    thanks Hun I really appreciate your help and i shall tell the other ladies on my course as it will be a help to them too. :D
