I am taking the unit 6 skills test on monday and was wondering if i had a question

Cost centre codes

100 washing/drying
200 ironing.pressing
300 packing
400 stores
500 canteen
900 Suspense account

Expenditure code

100 Direct materials
200 indirect materials
300 direct labour
400 indirect labour
500 equipment repairs
900 suspense account

If u knew that the invoice was for an equipment repair but did not know which department it was in do u code it 900/500 or 900/900

    You know the expenditure was on Equipment Repairs so the code must be 500

    Equipment could be found in more than one of the departments listed, so the suspense is needed until the department is known, this code is 900

    This question sounds vaguely familiar. There was one like it on an old RCI simulation.

    Unlike work, where you would check with someone if a coding wasn't clear you can't in a skills test.
    BUT
    The marker will see if the question is open to realistic intpretation in more than one way and will give you the credit.
