FTC Kaplan are they any good?

are the FTC Kaplan any good?? is any one with them what are they like learning with etc? am thinking of joining to do my AAT foundation (distant learning), have completed units 21, 22, and 23 but have struggled quite abit as the college im with have got through about 10-15 tutors already they keep leaving for some reason and is gettin to be a joke now.. if anyone is with the above mentioned provider please do let me know and how good they are etc.

    I'm not a student anymore but there are a few positive posts about FTC. I personally had a few problems with them when I was studying AAT but that was quite a few year's ago. I switched to BPP and found them quite good, but some of the feedback on here re BPP is rather negative. I think it depends on which type of course you go on. A lot of these private colleges seem to focus heavily on their taught courses as this seems to be a profitable area of their business, however this is at the cost of their home study courses.

    From what I have read on these forums, it is the home study that seems to cause all the problems i.e. not being able to get hold of a tutor, projects not being signed off etc etc.

    No doubt there will be others that can offer more advice which can help you make your mind up.

    I am studying Intermediate with FTC Kaplan in Newcastle, I also studied foundation there (Day Release), I have no complaints with FTC.

    I'm distance learning with FTC Leeds and have found both the admin staff and my tutor really helpful.

    Contacted them mainly be e:mail and they have never failed to respond quickly.

    Hi

    I used FTC distance learning for some of my AAT. I found them better than BPP because when you call them you speak direct to the distance learning team. although I belive BPP may have changed to this format now.

    I find the FTC texts better than BPP as the BPP text tend to be weighd down with 'waffle' whereas FTC texts are cmore clear and to the point.

    I can certainly recommend FTC Kplan, they have been extremely helpful, both the admin, and the tutors. I have done my foundation level and without their support i would have given up a long time ago.
