I have finally gained the MAAT letters after my name after a hard 2 and a half year slog. Every month at work I send out credit control letters can I now put these letters after my name like this:

    You can, but I would recommend showing it as:

    Miss R Beal, MAAT

    or even as:

    Miss R Beal, M.A.A.T.

    I will also warn you that you may well find yourself being referred to as Miss Maat by some stupid companies (a very famous credit card company who give accountancy affiliate cards is one of the worst offenders :shock: ) but if you put the comma after your surname it makes it less likely for the majority of companies/people to mistake it as part of your name.

    Just as well that your surname (or mine) is not door or mouse - even though my family now call me a door maat - very droll!

    I've just realised that when I get my letters I'll actually be a BA MAAT (or a bar-mat).

    Quite fitting for me really :D
